WA PHARMACIST'S BALL REVIEW
Over 160 pharmacists and guests came together to celebrate the inaugural WA Pharmacists’ Ball on October 15th at the Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom. The PSWA Early Career Pharmacist Working Group hosted the Gala Event with the aim of providing an occasion that would allow pharmacists to establish and develop professional relationships in a relaxed and social environment. We were pleased to note that our guests took this opportunity not only to interact with colleagues but to also form new professional relationships. We believe the night was a big success and a step in the right direction towards a more unified pharmacy profession.

On behalf of the PSWA Early Career Pharmacist Working Group we would like to thank those who attended the WA Pharmacists’ Ball for making the night a success. I think you would all agree it was a very enjoyable evening! The three-course dinner was beautifully presented, delicious and well complemented by the plentiful drinks on offer.Metro Big Band played a wide repertoire of favourite songs which made for a memorable evening and succeeded in getting the crowd on the dance floor throughout the night.Several guests were even lucky enough to scoop a door prize or a fantastic memorabilia piece or two! |
Our sincerest thanks go to our sponsors for making this event possible. We would like to say thank you to the Pharmaceutical Society of WA (PSWA), Pharmacy 777, Pharmacy Locum Link, Pharmaceutical Defence Limited (PDL) and Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) for their generosity. We look forward to organising further events which promote and unite the pharmacy profession and we hope you can join us at our future events.Lucinda Crisp and Jessica Sutton
